My name is Gail Rhyno and I am a maritime girl; grew up in Nova Scotia, went to school in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick and PEI, and now call Prince Edward Island home. I am for better or worse, driven to express myself creatively. Finding my creative voice later in life has lead to a creative process that resembles much of my day to day family life; a little more hurried then I'd like, often messy, usually fun and always changing. I am mainly self taught in my creative endeavors. With lifelong interests in drawing, sewing and painting I do creative works specializing in women's accessories. In 2011 after a couple years playing at painting unique handbags I have begun to paint on canvas. Eventually, some original artwork will compliment my Sea Glass Jewelry and Painted Bags. At the moment I'm working on building up a body of work - otherwise known as figuring out what I like to paint! On sunny days in the Summer, when I should be at my Studio welcoming customers...I can often be found at the beach arguing with my husband over who has to watch the kids and who gets to look for Sea Glass.

In the Winter of 2012 I will be reinventing my Studio to focus solely on my own handmade women's accessories and Art. That means my small selection of local art and craft will go on Sale when my Spring Hours begin. And everything will go, for a low price.
